I bought this just about two years ago, it was a good servant in the summer, my little girl loved it. Sadly the car was written off in a hollywood style accident. She was driving it and the back wheel fell off, she kept her foot on the gas with the remaining three wheels; we didn’t quite get the sparks because of the low speed, but we did get a broken chassis. We also lost bits of the wheel. I tried some DIY to repair it but it looks like it’s dead. I did contact RiiRoo by email to ask for any type of assistance, at the time I thought a new wheel might be the saviour with the plating I had put on to the car but the back wheel rod was then too small. It’s disappointing that this happened and I didn’t get a response from RiiRoo despite sending two emails. I don’t want to be too critical though because I have bought three ride ons from them and obviously they don’t manufacture the products. The prices are good, and they’ve been good in the past. I’ve just bought the McLaren drift kart from them but that will be kept back until Christmas. I was also toying with the idea of getting one of the mini motorbikes but after shelling out £335 for the go kart, and suffering a complete loss of the Merc I’m unsure. I had hoped RiiRoo might offer a good will gesture on the back of the write off but I still haven’t heard from them and they no longer have phone lines. I guess two years isn’t bad going though. I’ll leave you with photos of my failed attempt to fix the car. The snowmen were plates for the cracked gearbox’s. You can’t say I didn’t try 🙈
