A Grippmoz Tyre is a type of ride-on toy tyre where the outer shell is made of tough plastic and where it also has a flexible rubber strip running through the middle, allowing it to grip flat surfaces.

A Grippmoz Tyre with a rubber strip running down the middle

Advantages

  • Much cheaper to purchase a ride-on toy with Grippmoz tyres (oftentimes they are manufactured as standard).
  • Lightweight.

Disadvantages

The ride is not as comfortable for your kid as Soft EVA tyres which are much softer to touch (dense EVA foam) and make for a more comfortable ride.

  • The rubber strip will wear more than an EVA tyre will.
  • Not as stable when cornering as an EVA tyre (though, completely safe).
