RiiRoo maxpow utv-Mx ride on buggy

This item states it is for a 6 year old but my just turned 6 year old son who is average size for his age doesn’t have much room in the footwell. Otherwise great car and he enjoys driving his 2 year old sister around.

UTV-MX

Item arrived well boxed and the instructions where easy to follow for the build and set up. My son loves the UTV-MX and we regularly take it across the field for him to play on it will go over most terrain even in these wet winter conditions. The battery life is extremely good he drove about 2 miles (3hours) before we saw any real loss of power. The radio is a good way of tracking the battery power as when you start the buggy it give you the voltage reading so you can see when it's getting low and needs charging. He loves the preset songs on the radio. The remote control is super useful to over ride the buggy when a bit of parental control is required. My sons loves the key start and the auto gear selector, the tyres are plastic which is a shame as you loss a little traction in the wet off road.
Only two real negative things I have to say is one about there delivery process the tracking number didn't work and I had to speak to there customer services for an update (customer service where super helpful and sorted the issue tho) and the last negative is the number plates you can order with the product are great but they are not waterproof at all so the first time the buggy got wet they started to disintegrate (they need a laminate coating on them !)

Hi Scott, thanks for the nice feedback and we love the fact that your son is getting a ton of use out of the UTV. With regards to your feedback, we have taken note and will look into this further. We appreciate the feedback.

Utv-mx review

So firstly im really impressed with the vehicle however it early days. So far my 6yr old has spent about 4 hrs on it since xmas day and loves it. So what i like: the build was super easy so no need to pay the premium to have it assembled unless your really useless at that sort of thing, took me about half an hour. The quality on the whole is really good bar one or two things, ill mention later. The battery when fully charged on our longest run lasted 1hr 15 minutes so i was really impressed with that and 4wd drive is suprisingly capable for a little truck. The 3 speed selection is great with the fastest being a little quicker than walking pace which suits me because the one thing i was worried about was some ive seen that you hanging around waiting for the child to catch up a painfully slow walk, this motor shifts which makes longer trips more enjoyable for everyone. The charge time is long but as long as you plan ahead it ok.

So what im not super impressed with: the turning circle is massive which may not be an issue most of the time but its worth being aware when crossing a road onto a narrow pavement your not going toswing it around a sharpe turn in one go. The radio is impressive with bluetooth connectivity, usb, sd card and an fm radio and suprisingly loud however the buttons to operate it are super cheap, tiny and dont always repsond unless pushed quite hard. The final thing is the sterring wheel fitting, does not feel as solid and secure as the rest of the vehicle only being held in place with one screw its a bit shaky and considering its the main holding point when using the motor id like to see a little more solidness. Also dont bother with the private number plate as the stickers supplied have no obvious place to go on the front and are to big to go ovef the back pre fixed rii roo sticker. Also with the cold weather they have started to come off anyway.

On the whole i am super impressed and would definetly recommend buying one for your child. Yo...
